Update Your Netis Router Firmware

Keeping your router firmware up to date ensures you have the latest security patches and features. Follow these steps to update your Netis router firmware:

Before You Begin

  • Ensure your router is connected to power and the internet
  • Do not disconnect power during the update process
  • Note your current router settings (you may need to reconfigure after update)

Steps to Update

  1. Access your router's web interface (usually http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1)
  2. Log in with your admin credentials
  3. Navigate to System Tools or Administration section
  4. Look for Firmware Upgrade or Update option
  5. Download the latest firmware from Netis website (check your router model number)
  6. Upload the firmware file through the router interface
  7. Wait for the update to complete (do not power off during this time)
  8. Router will restart automatically

After Update

  • Reconfigure your WiFi settings if needed
  • Check that all devices can connect
  • Verify internet connectivity
